The first one is more expensive.
The second one is cheaper.

But there is a noticeable difference in temps really?

I want this because i like it, i don't want another cpu cooler, both are good and quiet with the low noise adapter.

My case support both, but i want to know if the difference in temps worth it.

Read these reviews:

They are from the same site, so are comparable. You can decide if the difference is worth the price.

I would choose a different cooler than either. You CPU's TDP is at the limits. I build mITX systems at school so am very familiar with the issues and choices.

What is this system to be used for?

daily use, gaming, movies, music....

That's a 65W chip and with gaming and turbo boost, you will likely exceed that occasionally. The Cooler is rated for 85W, so you have some overhead, but you are pushing things.

The combination of new parts, rarer CPU, gaming, and cooler, and a rare form-factor means that few if any on this board have specific experience with your configuration.

Your reading of the specs. is about as good as ours, when you have read those reviews. I would buy a cooler to handle any future upgrade you considered.

hi, i don't have plan to upgrade on 4 or 5 years.
i just want a good cooler and good temps with my i7 processor.

so that cooler is good?

and what about the first cooler, the Noctua NH-L9x65?

I'm talking about both of them. The are both rated at 85W. As the reviews show, the 9x65 is a little better than the 9i. They are both quiet, but primarily intended for SFF HTPC-type uses, not high performance gaming.

I'd consider a larger cooler, like the NH-C12 or even C14 if it will fit, or a different brand.

Do you have air conditioning or live in a generally cooler climate?

my case will have 2x 140mm at the top, 1x 140mm at the back and 1x 200mm at the front

The fans in the case will have little effect on CPU cooling, and that's a lot of fans for a mITX case. Even my mATX case with an overclocked CPU and GPU has only 1 x 200 and 2 x 120. What case? 200mm intakes can run many cases alone.

i won't overclock because my CPU is non-K.

My case is Phanteks ITX case

Yes, I know that. I was just making the point about how many case fans you were planning, and that I have fewer in a system with an overclocked CPU, and GPU, and memory.

The Evolv is a huge case and comes with only the 200mm as stock.

The case runs cool, you are doing normal things in it, those two coolers are quiet at 800r.p.m. The will cool the CPU adequately, I'd want something more adequate. Even for your situation, I would choose something a little more robust.

i just wanted to show my motherboard the best possible, that is why i chose this noctua's cooler because is small

good
and it's cheaper than the NH-L9x65, both have good temps by the way
