I'm about to buy a used Noctua NH-U12DX i4 cooler and I was just wondering if I can put it on a regular am4 mobo without any issue?
I already have an "am4 mounting kit" lying around; but do need to worry about anything else? No issues with the backplate or anything strange like that? This is an older Xeon cooler so I'm just double checking :)

According to reddit the case can fit nh-d15 so the size shouldn't matter:

I only have the heatsink and the fan, no accessories, but with the am4 mounting kit it should mount fine, right?

Case: Chieftec CI-01B nhd15
Mobo: MSI B450M Pro-VDH Max
Cooler: NH-U12DX i4
