Hi

Is Noctua NH-U12S enough for 24/7 use of the CPU at 100% load (at stock speed not OCing)?

This is what I'm going to build:

MB: gigabyte ga-z170x-ud3
CPU: intel core i7-6700K
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws 4 | 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2400MHz CL15
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 250GB
ODD: Asus 24X DRW-24D3ST
PSU: Enermax Revolution X'T 630W Gold
Cooler: Noctua NH-U12S
Case: Deep Cool Kendomen Ti

Any recommendations? Thanks?

It is far more than sufficient. If you wanted to invest a little for cooling better than stock, Cooler Master Hyper TX3/212 should work just fine.

Do you plan to overclock later? You are paying more money to have a Z170 motherboard and an unlocked CPU. If you don't plan to overclock you could save money by going with a different chipset and locked CPU.

What do you plan to use the system for?

Thank you for reply. But, do you mean CM Hyper 212 is better than Noctua NH-U12S ?
I don't plan to OC later. I'm building this rig for molecular dynamics computation which needs as much as possible CPU clocks. This is the reason why I've chosen 6700k instead of 6700. I want to be sure about the stability and durability of my system for such a non-stop 100% loading of CPU.
