With the low profile, you can get them to fit in an 1U or 2U cases imho.
The default ones need like 3U.

Seems a little pricey for a 2-pipe cooler. I suppose they get a small price bump for low-profile, atop the standard Noctua premium.

Also, the pictures are really lacking perspectives, as you cannot see what the base looks like, or the exact path of the heatpipes.
