Hi, I have a
Board: Asus Sabertooth Z77
CPU: i7 3770k CPU
RAM: 8gb (4gbx2) G. Skill RipJaws X (compatible If I checked right with Nocuta DH-14).
I am currently deciding between this
Nocuta DH-14: ($79)
http://www.newegg.com/Product
/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835608018&Tpk=nocuta%20dh%2014&IsVirtualParent=1
Or
Hyper 212 EVO: ($35)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103099&Tpk=hyper%20212%20evo&IsVirtualParent=1
Despite the vast difference in price, what would be the most effective cooler for good, stable overclocking. I was thinking 4.5 GHZ because on air that would be about the best I can get from what I've heard. Or is the DH-14 worth the premium price point where it would drop my temps way below?
P.S: Feel free to post any winning combinations with the DH-14 or the EVO, like for instance I hear people have bought an aftermarket fan and put it on the EVO to mimic the extra power of the DH-14.
Thanks!
