nodusm3-gl8e am2+ compatible or even am3 compatible? HELP!

i have an nodusm3-gl8e motherboard i want to know if it surports am2+. its an am2 board though.
atm i have an athlon x2 3800+ used to have an 6000+ in but broke the pins in that 🙁
my gpu is an gtx 460 1gb.
4gb ram
300V psu
Can somebody help. i have an pre bulit pc it an compaq presario System Model: EY993AA-ABU SR1909UK GB630.

The SR1915AN (NodusM3-GL8E) supports AMD processors up to AMD Athlon X2 5000+.
So, your motherboard will be compatible with the AMD Athlon X2 3800+.

I have an 3800+ now before like 3 days ago I had a 6000+ so the article that you read is out of date either can you put an am2+ cpu in here. a phenom x4 940 to be specific. atm my bios is 3.04 can't find a bios update help.

That motherboard has support only for am2, not am2+.
The Phenom X4 940 won't be compatible with that motherboard.

where did you get this answer from because some of the info on this mobo is outdated e.g. it says the 5000+ is the highest cpu that is compatible but I was able to put an 6000+ in. but does the 940 physically fit. thanks
