Noise insulation

I live in a 120 years old condo and the neighbors above exposed their original wood planks which leaves us with basically no noise separation from them except for their wood and our dry wall. I am looking for a way to soundproof the ceiling without removing the drywall. Is it even possible? Would spray foam be a good option or can anybody recommend anything else? Thanks.
