Have you checked that the computer components are properly fixed into the
box?
If it's the cd-/dvd-rom drives. You could try a no_cd fix to run it from the
hard drive instead.
If it's new and under warranty get the manufacturers on the phoneline and
let them listen. I got an new fan immediately once by holding the telephone
receiver up to the back! Needed no other explanation.
Might be worth doing a springclean on your computers innards if older. You
can get forced air sprays from the photography shops to blow the dust off
fans.
(I once had a Zanussi washing machine that seemed noisy when I first used
it. It blew the fuses and I found that the thermostat hadn't been fixed at
all).
