Hi I don’t understand what’s going on but for some reason my computer when a game doesn’t support sli is using only the second gpu and not the first one and I’m wondering why it is doing that
Wish to help but I don't really understand what you're trying to say. So are you trying to say that, when a game is incompatible with your one of your GPU, it uses your second GPU slot? or second GPU?
Basically any game is using gpu2 instead of gpu1 so it is using the gpu in the second pci-e slot and the first gpu in pci-e 1 is sitting idle
Hmm I see.. Try doing the opposite, put the gpu that's sitting idle to the working gpu area and see if it works.

There should be a special bridge device connecting the two GPU'S- do you have this device properly installed?
Yes I do the computer recognizes both gpus and is set into sli mode but for some reason chooses to use the gpu in the second pcie slot. And as of recently every game I play (pubg/fortnite) crashes after a few minutes of playing as well
