Question Non Express PCI Graphics Card

Hi,
I'm looking at these weird PCI cards that, rather than having two sections on the connectors like PCI-E, have three. They claim to be for PCI (not express), but even this port only has two sections. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/123790320252 you can see what I mean here. Would this fit into a standard PCI port? Or is it incorrectly advertised.

Yes, those old GPUs will fit a standard PCI slot. Why are you considering using these?

Thanks. It's for an old 2004 PC I have that I'm trying to beef up. It's already got 2GB DDR-400, and I'm waiting for a Sempron 3000+ which should be arriving this week sometime.

Does the old PC not have a PCIe (or even AGP) slot? What OS do you intend to run on that old rig?

Yes it does have AGP, but cards for it seem to be quite expensive. At the moment it has Linux Mint XFCE, but CPU is constantly hitting 100% when I try to load something, and locking up. If it is still like this I'm going to try Linux Lite. Windows 10 (annoyingly) won't work as the CPU lacks SSE2.

That old rig is going to struggle with any modern OS. Just something to keep in mind.

Yup, but with an XFCE Linux OS I think it will do alright. The new CPU it's getting is about 20% faster with twice as much cache, and I hope a GPU will make videos a little faster. Then I guess that it should be about good enough for just browsing the internet and making word documents etc.
