Non-fullscreen games in Windows 10

I recently made the upgrade, and overall everything is good. However, some older games are now no longer fullscreen on the laptop, which is more than a little annoying. I have a HP laptop with the AMD A10-4655M processor with AMD Radeon HD graphics. I have already updated drivers etc and tried running the games in compatibility modes and as an administrator. On an older laptop with an Intel HD graphics card, there was a "fullscreen" option, but I can't find this on the AMD Catalyst Control Panel. Any suggestions?

Sorry, maybe I wasn't clear enough. The games in question are no longer filling the laptop screen. They appear to think they are fullscreen, as they are not windowed, and are running in a square shape, but not the widescreen format of the laptop monitor.
