Non-gaming headset for gaming

I currently have Razer Kraken 7.1 and I feel like the sound quality in them is rather poor. I would like to get a good pair of headphones with great sound quality for playing games with (and also a bit of music). I have been looking at Sennheiser's headphones but I have no idea what I should get (budget is probably around £200 or higher seeing as I don't want to go half-arsed, even if I have to save a bit).

I'm assuming you can order from amazon.co.uk. So looking there your best choice would be sennheiser hd558, senn hd598, or phillips fidelio x1. All of these don't require an amp and will run fine from your mobo. Don't be afraid to go used to save some money.

If your looking to spend more than that there are tons of headphones out there, I won't recommend you any but I will tell you some of the best brands.
