non touch screen into touch screen

I have Lenovo laptop and its not a touch screen if I change my screen with a touch screen will it be possible that it will get converted into touch screen or I will need some other configuration to make..

I doubt you will be able to, the laptop wont have the hardware required to interface with a touch screen
