Hi all,
I bought a $1500 PC from Cyberpower PC about a week ago. It's got some very high end components and is probably close to as fast as a PC as you can get today for a sub $2000 price.
However, twice it was EXTREMELY slow. The first time, it was soon after I first turned it on. I updated some drivers and updated windows and restarted...it was then very fast.
I then turned it off for the night and when I next turned it on, it was very slow again. I restarted and again it was very slow. I then noticed there was another Windows update, so I did that, restarted a third time, and it was very fast when it booted up again.
I've had the PC on for a few days now and each day it has remained very fast. I'm kinda nervous about shutting it down, unless the slowness was simply due to the non-updated version of Windows.
So my question is, is a non-updated Windows 8 enough to make the entire system very slow? Thanks.
