How should i make a monitor, this one more specifically ( SAMSUNG SD590 Series S27D590P ) into a vesa compatable monitor. I already watched the swashin video and i dont want to do that, and my budget is about 20$. I obviously would use an adapter because i plan to use a monitor arm under 50$ to do a double monitor setup.

These is the arm im looking to use

There are only two adapters I know of for your Samsung monitor, and both of them are over $30. They attach to the monitor where the base would normally go, and allow enough room for the power and video ports to be used. Here's one of them: https://www.amazon.com/Adapter-Monitors-U28D590D-S27D590P-S24D590PL/dp/B01BFWRH7U

We make a semi-universal adapter for below $20 that I wish I could recommend, but the problem in this case is that the power and video ports on your monitor could be blocked, so the more expensive adapter made specifically for your monitor is about the only working option.

There are actually a number of manufacturers (including us) that make VESA adapters for monitors like this. To find one, just do a Google search for (model # of monitor) VESA adapter, and if one exists, it should come right up.

That's fine, just wanted to make sure you knew about it. :)
I've seen people try to mount TVs and monitors using tape, glue, or even by drilling holes. I always get a bad feeling whenever someone does that...

That is very similar to our universal adapter. It is a good solution for a lot of monitors, but for the S27D590P, since the power and video ports are right in the center, they'd end up getting covered. That's one issue we haven't figured out quite yet.
