[SOLVED] None-modular PSU modding

Hey there.
I have a none-modular PSU, Evga 500 W1, and there are a number of connections that I don't need such as the molex connections. If i just cut them off will that be a bad idea? That is, to cut them and then to insulate the exposed ends.
Thoughts?????

Snip away. Just make sure you've unplugged the PSU from the wall first.
