None of my games seem to want to launch

Hey community,

So this morning and part of last night, I power on my computer to find that some (most) of my games are failing to launch.

The first thing I suspected was that my HDD wasn't working properly. I have all of my games on one HDD, and I figured it was the drive.

I moved LoL onto another drive to use as an example, and that wouldn't launch either. I threw out the HDD issue.

I'm kind of out of ideas here. I feel like something is preventing my games from launching, like a not-updated driver or something. I can't think of anything I actually did that would have affected this.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Gunner

Well, I got a little impatient :) and decided to do a clean install of Windows, since I was about a week into this one anyway. I didn't have much to lose, and figured why not.

I'd still like to know why though just for future reference. The games start up, and then they just crash. Everything has the latest driver possible. That was one of the things I checked.

As far as i know, if it happens overnight, its a virus hat was already in there for a long time.
When i get this problem is usually after i fill my PC with so much crap, that it can bearly run. From mods, to freeware.

The second reason this happens is when i have games that have not been installed in the running OS, but added with a hdd already installed on it. This makes windows miss key pathing information to DirectX, Physx etc.
