I have a Lenovo X1 Carbon that I've owned for a year or so. A few days ago the usb ports magically stopped working, there was no physical damage so it must be internal. I've reset the PC, uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers and done anything I could. Is there still hope because this is my only laptop and I cannot afford another one for a while. My mouse wont work, I've switched mice and still wont work. Its running the latest version of Windows 10 if that helps in anyway. Its USB 3.0 btw I forgot to mention.

Does the touchpad or keyboard work? Have you tried all of the USB ports? Looks like there is another post of this occurring on Lenovo's forum, talks about performing an emergency reset- Lenovo Forum Topic. According to one user who said it worked-
Shut down, emergency reset. Start up and the port is working again.
Other documentation says to remove the AC adapter before pushing the button as well.
