Hello all. My old PC died a few days ago randomly. I know a little bit about building but not enough to say I'm confident in everything or very knowledgeable about specs and parts. I built my last PC but with help from some friends. Unfortunately, I can't get help from them anymore since they don't live here. I am looking to spend roughly $800 for the tower ONLY not including OS. Here is what I have so far, I'd like to know if everything looks okay and if everything is compatible or if anything is unnecessary. My primary use for this computer will be gaming and just normal use like music, browsing, etc. I am not a hardcore gamer (anymore) or play any graphically intensive games. I also do not plan to overclock (because I don't know how and don't wanna mess anything up). Would I need a separate heat sink/fan for the CPU or should the stock one be fine? Thanks for looking!

I wanted to add, I already have another hard drive and CD/DVD burner from my old computer that I will be carrying over. And I will need an OS too but didn't want to include that in my budget. Not really sure I want Windows 8. Do I need special thermal paste or would it make a noticeable difference or would it just be a waste of money for semi low budget build?
