So, as you may have noticed i'm noob at this sort of thing, but i've been wanting to upgrade my old computer for about a year and a half.
So i decided to start doing some research and to fiddle with some configuration tools,
and i've reached this build:

Processor - AMD FX 8350 4.0 GHz Black edition
Motherboard - Msi 990FXA gaming
Graphics card - AMD R9 380 Gaming 4Gb GDDR5
Ram - 2x8Gb DDR3 Kingston cl11 2400 Mhz HyperX Savage
Memory - SSD Samsung 850 EVO mSATA 250 Gb
Western Digital SATA III 1Tb 7200 RPM 64Mb Black 6Gb/s
Power source - Corsair V5450
Corsair carbide Spec-03

But this arises some questions:
Are all of these components compatible ?
Is this power source enough or should i change it?
How long is this going to last from a gaming point of view? ( could this possibly last for at least 3 years? At a reasonable graphics level)

This costs around 1160 euros ( 1270 dollars).
And my final question now is the following:
Is there something that you would suggest changing, for around the same price that you think that has a better performance?
This is the first time i've done something of the sort so all opinions are valuable.
P.S (Sorry about any english mistakes it's not my first language)

Good case, HDD, and SSD, but I'd go with something more like a Seasonic 520w S12II PSU, and entry level Intel quad i5 CPU.

Also, you don't need 16GB RAM for gaming, nor 2400 speed. 8GB 1866 is the most you need to go with.

Thanks for your reply, and after a little consideration i revised my build a "bit"
so here is the actual version:
Processor - i5 4690k 3.5 Ghz quad core
Motherboard - Asus Z97 ProGamer
Graphics card - GTX 970 ddr5 4Gb (still kind of undecided between the msi and strix version)
Ram - 2x4Gb DDR3 Kingston cl10 1866 Mhz HyperX Fury ( with the possibilty of an update later on)
Power source - Seasonic 512
no changes to the memory part

About the case though, my first choice is still the corsair spec 03 due to availability and quality/price ratio but aestheticaly i much prefer the obsidian 450d but i'm still not sure about how good the ventilation itself is so basically what i'm trying to ask is could i possibly consider the 450d a viable choice?

Again thanks for any feedback

The only real reason to get the 450D would be if you want to build using big 2 or 3 fan rads for water cooling. Otherwise it's just taller and 4.5lbs heavier without needing to be, and actually more cramped in width, which can affect cable space on the right, and cooler clearance on the left.

Come time to clean your case, you WILL feel that extra 4.5lbs. The Spec-03 can be had for only $40 at Newegg on promo code right now. Great deal.

And on the 970, I'd go with the 1178 speed Gigabyte G1 instead.
