Noob Installing a SSD (SAMSUNG 860 EVO); Any way to install SSD on top of HDD?

I recently bought a new 250GB internal SSD to help speed up general load times with gaming. But I am confused as to how do I go about installing the SSD along with my already installed 1TB HDD (TOSHIBA DT01ACA100) with about 500GB used already. I was wondering if it is possible to have both my SSD and HDD installed and how I would go about the general process. I’m fairly unsure and new to installing an SSD and any help or tips would be greatly appreciated. TYIA
