Noob needing help on first gaming rig

I apologize in advance because I am brand new to pc gaming so I am pretty clueless on pc parts and specs. But I'm ready to buy my first rig and want to spend about $1000 for it. I was looking at getting either the Acer AG3-605-UR39 or the Digital Storm Vanquish II (level 3) but I wanted some feedback on the specs to see which would be the best bang for my buck! I'll be playing WoW so I want to be able to play on ultra.

I wish I could, but I have little to no knowledge of how to build one. I want to buy a prebuilt to start me off for now until I can learn what's what

If you absolutely want to go for a prebuilt pc then the digital storm vanquish ultimate setup is decent for the price, still more expensive than building yourself (with some components not being as good). The ultimate runs for about $1200 I think, if you built that same system yourself you could probably get it for 1k though.

You don't need to know much to build it yourself. Checkout LinusTechTips and CareyHolzman build guides on YouTube. They go through every single step and explain and show everything very well. It's fun, and it'll save you at least 20% on your build, AND get you better quality parts.

That'll give you maxed out performance at 1080p for just over $900

I'd really like to learn how to build but I am nervous about screwing up a $1000 worth of equipment haha

Would it be better to spend the extra money to get I7 instead of the i5?

For gaming, no. That extra $100 would be better spent on a better GPU. But the above build will be very good for you And if you're skeptical, just watch either of those YouTube builders and see how easy it is. Just takes maybe a couple hours tops, but is fun, informative, and a lot cheaper.
