Hello guys. I am not really good with computers. I need a new PC for my office. My daily usage willbe 10-12 hours. I won't game or do overclocking but I am a heavy multitasker. Since I am not that techie enough, my close friend suggested me following configuration:

The local dealer on the other hand revised the above and suggested me this http://pcpartpicker.com/p/DsK3vK

I would love any inputs from your side. Thanks for your help :)

PS - I am not sure if its relevant but I live in a place where it gets really hot and humid in summers (~45-50 degrees C)

Solution
for work pc non gaming you dont need a k cpu and a z97 mb a h97 and a 4590 is fine or any o5/i3 cpu. with ram buy 1600 1.5v ram it kits of two for newer intel mb. the intel cpu memory controller max rated speed is 1600 at 1.5v you can run faster ram if your building a gaming pc. a work pc you want it a stable as it can be for years. pick up a video card with two dvi or two digitail ports or use the onboard and a cheap gpu and more then one monitor. it nice to keep your word doc open on one screen and then email or web on another. if you need wifi look into wifi card or usb stick. if you cant lose any data look into buying two hard drives and some backup software to make disk image of your pc. if this is a home office and not a work office that has it own baxckup server or software you can look at newer wifi routers with usb storage connection or a small home nas. if the pc a work pc from home before you buy speak with your tax rep on if you can write the pc off as a work expense. one thing to watch out for on monitors is ghostings..some monitors dont refresh right and with text moving fast it can ghost. also look at the monitor some are lcd with led backlights nows. some of them have bad color bleed from backlights. also walk into micro center and look at the monitors there are few panel types out there some people like mat screen some like glossy. some like ips some liek the older tn screens.
