My CPU temps welling loading into certain games or playing them spike up to 90-99˚c but immediately go back down to normal gaming temps around 40-55˚f. Room temp changes but even on a cold day it will spike high. Is this normal or cause for concern?
Parts list:
i5-13600k
Deepcool AK620
MSI MAG B660M Mortar
G.Skill Flare X5 32g DDR5-6000 ram
MSI Mech 2x Radeon RX 6750 XT
EVGA superNOVA 750 GT 80+ Gold
Cooler Master MasterBox NR400 Mid tower
I've also changed out the stock CPU contact frame now for a Thermal Grizzly's contact frame to help with the spikes also using their kryonaut thermal paste. Idle temps have lowered since but still spiking up high. I have 2 fans blowing air in at the front and 2 fans blowing out one at the back another one above CPU cooler.

Could be spikes on only one core and that's what you see, the highest one. You have to look at all cores at same time.
