Normal External drive or NAS one (Nvidia shield + Plex)

Hi guys, I'm planing to buy an external drive and use my nvidia sheild primary as a Plex server with lan and remote access, i will then connect the hard drive in an external case directly on the shield with USB.

I have found that Seagate are making external drive for NAS use like this one :

And simple one like this :

Does the NAS one (ironwolf) realy bring something better and worth the price than the normal one for my use ?

NAS hard drives are made to run 24x7 and to handle multi user access better. Its just straight up more durable for that type of scenario.
