Question Normal idle and operating temps for an AMD Ryzen threadripper 2920x?

You would think I could easily find this information via a simple google search, but I guess my google fu just sucks. What are the normal idle and operating temps for an AMD Ryzen threadripper 2920x?

Should be in the 30-40* range, but there are a lot of factors you need to look at.

What is room temps, if your room is already warm then the cpu can not be below that.
What cpu cooler do you have?
how is the air flow in the case?
Is the BIOS up to date?
Is the CPU running stock settings
How many ram sticks are you running, the more ram sticks you have the more stress you put on the memory controller.
Are you running stock ram speeds or are you running EXPO with overclocked speeds.


Every single part in the system can change test results. Not every CPU is created equal, some can do the same job with less voltage while others need more voltage.


There is no golden google search that will tell you, if you have this CPU it idles at this temp.
