Normal idle laptop temp?

For a laptop probably normal.
Low loads temps don't tell us too much really, realistically it's the load temperatures that tell you.

However laptops always naturally run a bit hotter, especially without cooling pads.

Do you have any recommendations about cooling pad?

I do not use them so not that I could recommend unfortunately, you'll probalby find other threads on the forums for this.

However I would test out just running normally first, no need to spend money when it's not necessary :)
