Hello, I recently finished my new pc and was wondering if these temps are normal or harmful to the card. When idle, it usually hovers in the mid to low 30c range, however, when under full load, it usually goes as high as 82-84c. Its an Evga XC ultra model.

Try taking your side panel off and see if temps improve, if it does then you have an air flow issue inside the case.

Ive maxed my card out voltage wise with hitting 2115mhz on the core and +1700 on memory and havent seen over 67*c on my card, and thats using the stock air cooler.

What is your full setup including case and fans/fan layout....... picture is worth a thousand words :D

The case and fans I had laying around from a prebuilt by cyberpower and I just went with em, so maybe that's the problem. My room is also warm all the time for some reason so that might also be a contributing factor lol. THe fans are front intake, top exhaust and one fan exhaust in back of case.

Closed off, or near closed off, huh?
Yeah, that's playing a large part towards your gpu's current load temps.

It's not getting enough air once things really get going.
The default thermal limit is 84C: https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/205879/evga-rtx2080ti-11264-181023
While you can raise it to 88C with an app like Msi Afterburner or EVGA Precision X, over 85C isn't a range I'd suggest running at long term.

The best solution would be a new case.

I knew from the beginning that this case might be problematic but still went with it because i got lazy. THanks for the help

You can set a more aggressive fan curve with MSI Afterburner to reduce your temperature.

Andy
Yup, I went super aggressive with the fan curve and now it peaks in high 70s at full load. Still not ideal but much better.I know I could just take off the side panel but I don't want dust to build up in there.
