Hi, I'm not entirely sure about this but I think my nothbridge is getting too hot (I think its the NB anyway). I've got a MSI 790FX-GD70 and to be honest, I've never really noticed it before (or taken note of it) but the otherday I installed HWmonitor and I noticed that the AUX is getting up to 54c (sometimes a bit higher). I'm assuming that the AUX is the NB (as I have another in HWM called Motherboard) when I go into my BIOS its called System Temp (which matched up to what HWM AUX says temp wise).
When I touch the headsink thing towards the bottom of my board (kinda under the gpu its rather hot (not hot enough to burn, but it feels quite hot) and there is a pipe that goes up and over to beside the cpu and back pannel outputs to another (larger) heatsink which is rather cold (at least not as hot as the other end of it). I've got tonnes of fans in my machine (2x180mm at the top (blowing up), 1 at the front (in), 1 at the back (out) and 1 on the bottom (up) and I can feel the air if I stick my hand in the computer) yet I just can't seem to keep my PC cool (at least not this AUX sensor). The sound of the fans is driving me crazy.. Could there be something wrong with the heatsink, compound under the boards headsink (which I dont think is removeable) or should I not worry?
