i have nis 2005, in the firewall section there are so many norton services
that are allowed access, i want to know that if i disable or block internet
access to all those apps, will it be bad or good, i believe that it shud be
good as i will save bandwidth, which is the reason i am doing this ,

any commets will be appreciated

If you're refering to Program Control tab these are progs that require
internet access, if you block them you may lose functionality. Progs that
NIS 'know' about get added to this list automatically when you installed
NIS, others are added when you used the Prog. and you got a msg from NIS
asking you if you wished to allow access.
Whatever you do here will not impact on bandwith.
You only use bandwidth when you are uploading/downloading data.
Dont mess with what you dont know, it will only cause you problems!
