I am getting closer to adding art but still not the way I wanted. Just
trying to decorate my P39 for my next mission. I have a pic of Halle Berry
spreading it wide from her earlier days showing all of her stuff, so I
thought it might look real nice on the nose of my plane, I also thought it
might be a big distraction when fighting the japs, you know...while I am
hammering them they are captivated by Halle showing it all off so they
would lose there concentration.
Anyway when I added the art it didnt show up on the nose but it showed up on
the top of my right wing, not only that I no longer have any US markings,
now just flying a silver plane with no paint. How do I keep my original
marking but still add the pic to the nose?

Take your 256x512 8bit (256 colors) .bmp and put it into the
PaintSchemes\noseart directory within your IL2 install.
You then pick your nose art from within the game!
