I am trying to find what is meant by NOSID in the security
event logs on several windows 2000 servers I have. I
understand that nosid and nosidgen are parameters for a
sysprep, however I am not trying to image any machines.
These events are showing up on servers that are already
running.

Thanks

Can you post a sample of the events you're seeing this, along with all the
data in the events?
