HELLO EVERYONE!
WELCOME to my 2.5 Post in Toms Hardware~!
TEMPORARY FIX
TL;DR:- Make your PSU FAN Face UPWARDS not downwards.
Is your PSU Fan Making any of these noises?
Video 1) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BadlOoUjGRE
Video 2) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MPmcAlVmfGA
Video 3) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F6W88KW7vYU
If yes, is your PSU Facing Downwards like shown in Video 2?
Acting as an independent Fan from your System?
If Yes again, here is a possible fix for you~
Just Position your PSU fan to be facing upwards, acting as an Exhaust fan from the system.
and this should reduce the banging, hitting or rattling (whatever you call it) noise from the fan.
Easy.
But i want a 100% FIX solution... Then BUY AN OTHER PSU, AVOID FSP HYDRO G SERIES FOR NOW!!!!
Thanks for Reading.
----------------------------------MY OLD POST NO need to READ----------------------------------
[strike]I AM NOT ASKING FOR A FIX XD, i am just here to say how unlucky i am!!![/strike]
[strike]and Will also be asking why the psu produce such a noise~ thx[/strike]
Okay Here is a short breif of what happened.
Finally have money to upgrade computer, read review about PSU, since i heard buying Second hand PSU is a bad idea so i gone to this site
http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html
So i randomly select a psu form the Tier 1 list; FSP Hydro G
And i check is it available in my country, it is.
Buying it.
After 1-2 Weeks of using it i start hearing Noises coming from the Computer <--- link to the video i recorded.
So i checked all my Fans, and shortly after 2-3 days of random guessing and i think it came from my PSU...i didn't really care since is still new XD
So i went to the shop and stating my problem and Demand, just kidding, Asked for a replacement.
I thought everything was fine...untill 30 minutes later XD
The same sound comes from the PSU again.
Man, Hope you get what i just typed...
Just saying, do you think is the bad PSU batch? or am i really that unlucky?
[strike]And btw, what could be the problem, i just want to know. I am not trying to fix it, i just want to know what causes the Psu to produce such a sound.[/strike]
Thanks~
If my Grammar sucks, i don't care! i never was good with engalashy
