If you didn't completely kill the link and are using DHCP you can find the address easily because it should be the default gateway address (with some exceptions, but this is worth a shot) This is a assuming you changed the network address of the router.
If you are using a static IP address on your host PC first set it to DHCP:
Don't forget to write down all the static address if any.
This will only work if DHCP is configured on your router also.
If DHCP is already configured on your PC, skip this step.
1. Control Panel
2. Network and Internet
3. Network and Sharing Center
4. Connections: Local Area Connection
5. Properties
6. Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) > Properties
7. Click the radio button to obtain an IP address automatically
8. Click the radio button to obtain DNS server addresses automatically
To find your default gateway if you are using windows go to:
1. Control Panel
2. Network and Internet
3. Network and Sharing Center
4. Connections: Local Area Connection
5. Details...
The Ipv4 default gateway address should be listed. Try that in your browser.
If it didn't work, don't forgot to revert any changes you made back to how they were. Not doing so will just cause more issues.
Goodluck.
