When I hit f12 to see what I can boot form it shows 2 options but neither are the usb they both seem to be HDD i replaced my old one with a new one so I'm assuming that's why 2 are coming up. (they are also there without the usb attached)

Solution
Have you already created the Windows installation media from a Windows 10 iso file using the Media Creation Tool, or have you just put the Media Creation Tool on the USB drive? See my post above.

i can only guess at least 4-5 years i see a option that says legacy usb support so i would assume it supports it

I mean, what program did you use to make the USB bootable in the first place. I don't care if it can't be seen in the boot menu right now.

You don't just throw files on the USB drive and expect it to be bootable. You use programs like Rufus or Microsoft's USB tool to make bootable drives.

So, what did you do, if anything.

I put Microsoft windows 10 media creation tool on it

gigabyte motherboard ga-b75m-d3h
by setting priority you mean enabling legacy usb support yes
and i have tried the front 2.0 and 3.0 and the back 2.0 and 3.0 slots

No.

There should be a boot menu in the BIOS that allows you to choose which drive comes first in the boot process. Plug your USB drive in a USB 2.0 slot and search for it in that menu and set it as #1.

Put the Windows media creation tool on your main OS drive, add a shortcut to your desktop, and then launch the tool. Then specify the USB drive for the destination of the windows install media the tool will create. Be aware that this will erase everything on the USB drive, so back up anything you want to keep. The reason that the USB drive is not currently bootable is that you haven't actually created any bootable file yet.

Fixed the problem somehow i rebooted and it came up
Edit: moved the USB to the back ports
