Question Not all RAM usable, yet windows detects it all.

I have 16GB of RAM installed in my pc and only 7.9GB available, as task manager says 8.1GB is reserved for hardware. My system is only approx. 1 1/2 years old at most and this issue came up fairly recently. I have a Ryzen 5 1600 and a ASRock A320M-DGS motherboard, with Patriot Viper DDR4 RAM. Can anyone help?

I tried turning this on, and now for some reason my computer won't display any image to the monitor so what should I do now?

i believe it's the Patriot Viper 2x8GB DDR4-2133MHz, and the bios may not have been updated in a few months so i'm not sure of the version. How can i reset the bios if i can not get picture though? I can't see what i'm doing.

I believe you can reset bios to default using either the battery method or the jumper method, search on google guides of how to do so.
