Hi community I am urging for your help please.

I have just bought a PC which is pre-installed with windows 7. The pcs refuses to connect to anything whether it be wifi or using an ethernet.

What I've tried:
-Uninstall,Reinstall, update drivers
-Troubleshoot Hardware

Specs: I5-2500, Win 7 pro 64-bit
Brand - Generic Custom Built
(wifi enabled)

Device management:
Network adapters:
-Intel(R) 82579LM Gigabit network connection
-Microsoft ISATAP adapter
-WAN Miniport (IKEv2)
-WAN miniport (IP)
-WAN miniport (L2TP)
-WAN miniport (Network monitor)
-WAN miniport (PPPOE)
-WAN miniport (PPTP)
-WAN miniport(SSTP)

Network and internet > Network connection

-Local area connection (Intel (R) 82579LM Gigabit network connection)

I also note that I have checked through recovery that Ralink Wireless LAN was installed on 05/06/17 but cant see it under device management.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you community.

Best,
Adnan

Problem solved - I assumed there was a wireless card installed but it wasn't. Fortunately the seller on ebay sent me a wifi dongle and all is well at 130mbps. Thanks for the reply
Did you check if the system has a wireless card installed? It could have been removed before you got the system.

Do you have link lights on the network card? Try another cable or port on the router? Check ipconfig and see what IP you get.

You can try resetting the TCP/IP stack with the "netsh int ip reset" command then reboot the system.
