Hi there!
I recently built a pc with a tp-link wdn4800. Last night, it was working fine, but today, I can't connect! It recognises my network, but it won't connect. I've tried using the driver dvd, but it's not compatible with windows 8. I've also tried getting the drivers with a usb, but I need internet to run them!
Just as a side note, I installed my asus mobo drivers and now I have this little black arrow on the side of my screen. When I click on it, this little black box slides out. On it, there are 4 symbols: auto, an airplane (hightlited in blue) a man walking and a man running with his computer sleeping. I can't even click on it!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

p.s: it says compatible with windows 8 on the side of the box! (for the tp link)

If I'm reading your problem right, it might be a problem on how your computer or the router is configured. I would try to find the DNS Server or the Default Gateway on your router and make sure yours is matching to the router's. You could also try to find where the problem is coming from. If you don't feel confident with fixing the internet I would try white-listing your computers mac address. You can find it by saying ipconfig /all in CMD. Afterwards, go in your router settings and put the mac address in the whitelist. Good luck and answer if you have more questions!
