I did a bios reset after a graphics problem, fixing it, but now I have a sound one. In the bios options I have onboard sound on enabled, and front jacks on auto. Windows says there is sound being played through the back jack, but when I plug my headphones in, there is none to be heard. The front jack yields no sound either, and sound options don't even say there is a device plugged into the jack. All my drivers/devices are updated. After not succeeding at fixing anything, I did a system restore, and it still doesn't work. Yes, I did try with another pair of headphones.

Is there something wrong with the hardware or am I being an idiot at windows? I searched for a few hours and didn't get any solutions that worked, so I lean towards hardware problem, which is why I post here.

Thanks for any help.

Xsplit is a streaming program, but the audio worked fine when I had it installed before. I think the speakers are renamed xsplit, but they are still the speakers. Cambridge soundworks is the speakers I use. If it made the front port not work, then the back would work, but the back doesn't work. The only option for front jacks in bios are AUTO or DISABLED, currently on AUTO. And then onboard audio is currently enabled in BIOS.
