not displaying 1920x1080

So today i upgraded to a moniter that ran at 1366x768, ive been using it for one year and i decided to finally upgrade to a moniter that is built to run at the maximum of 1920x1080p and/or 1080i...ive used it on my ps4 in the past an it has worked fine but when i try to use it on my pc..i up the resolution to 1920x1080 and it zooms half out and takes up only half the screen..ive also tried changing it ingame on cs:go and it zooms in..please help me with this fix ASAP, im not sure what to do...i upgraded from moniter to tv that said it held those resolutions

Looks like the monitor is not displaying is 1920x1080. Right click on your desktop and click on screen resolution. Click on the drop down box and select the desired resolution, in your cases 1920x1080 and click apply. This should fix your problem. If it doesn't, reply to me and I will do my best to help.

this didnt work, i forgot to mention i had already tried it..and the same thing occurs where it zooms out and blurs the picture
