Not enough connectors?

I am kinda new to this upgrading stuff and with inexperience, I think I made a mistake. I bought a pre built from abs that has a Cougar SL 600 power supply a couple years ago and now I decided to buy a EVGA GTX 1080. Upon receiving the card, I was installing it and I had a heart attack when my power supply only had two 3 pin power connectors and a 2 pin connected to one of them. The 1080 requires two 8 pins and the included adapter is only two 6 pin to 8 pin, which is only enough for half the connectors needed for the GPU. What can I do?

Sounds like they didn't provide you will all the connectors. There should have been 2 of the 8pin x 6+2pin connectors. You could try asking abs for the missing connectors, but if that's no good, you'll have to buy another.

Its one off these ones so he might need to get an new PSU
