not enough motherboard standoffs.

hello

I have an atx motherboard gigbyte p-85-d3 but it didnt include any standoffs, and my case included only 3 of them, can i go on installing the mb or do i need more?

You do indeed need them. As the motherboard will 'hang' in the case, it's very important.

However, standoffs comes with the case not the motherboard. Look through your cases accessories.

If you can't find any, I'm sure they are beeing sold as spare parts somewhere.

Just like a stool needs a minimum of 3 legs, a full size Mobo needs at minimum 5 support "pillars," including any built-in or stumps.
