So after I got a gtx 1050 for my system, I have been getting phenomenal frames for all the games I play. However, after about a week of use, I've noticed in csgo that the frames Have dropped from an average of 150 on max settings, to 110 on lowest settings. The other games I play have dropped as well, but Its still good enough to play. I have tried following every video I could find to increase my fps, but none have helped.
Specs:
i3 6100 3.7 GHz Duel Core (along with the Intel fan)
GTX 1050 Superclocked
16 GB DDR4 Ram
Gigabyte H110M-A Motherboard
There are a few things I can think of that may be the issue. The cpu fan is not entirely attached onto the cpu because 2 of the screws that hold it in broke, so its kinda just hanging there. So I thought that the fan might be causing the cpu to underclock. Also, I just recently added in my old hard drive from an old pc about 15 years ago. It isn't running windows or games on that hard drive, so I don't see why that would be the reason, but it was just around that time period so maybe.
If I have to spend money on this, I'd be willing to spend up to $100, but would not like to get anywhere near that.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
