I have recently purchases the HTC Vive and I normally use 3 monitors 2 which use DP and 1 that uses HDMI however now I've got the Vive I need 2 HDMI ports however only have one available I wish to run 3 monitors and Vive (once Vive is running that's all I'll be doing though).

Problem: Is there a HDMI bus that is capable of having my Monitor 25" AOC 4k (runs at 1080) and the Vive, followed by my other two monitors on my Display ports plugged directly into my GTX 1080. Also any recommendation for a Vive setup, peripherals, games or computer upgrades?

Specs:

OS: Microsoft Windows 10 Professional (x64) Build 14393.2214 (1607/RS1)
Processor: Intel I7-7700K Kaby Lake-S
Chipset: Intel Z270 (Kaby Lake)
Ram: Corsair DDR4 SDRAM 16GB
Motherboard: ASUS MAXIMUS IX APEX
HDD: 3TB Toshiba
SSD: Samsung 960 512GB & Samsung 840 120GB
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 (3 DP, 1 HDMI) Need more HDMI ports
Monitors: 24" AOC G2460 / 24" BenQ Zowie (240hz gaming) / AOC monitor 25" 4k (set to 1920x1080)

Would best solution just be a HDMI to DP adpater? I have one DP spare on GPU or perhaps use a DP to Hdmi adapter and have my monitor that is'nt used for gaming run the adapter?

Thank you.

If your VIVE only requires one HDMI port, then your best bet would probably be to use the HDMI available from your graphics card and use a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter for your tertiary (3rd) display.

Yes I felt like bit of a fool when I turned my Monitor over and noticed I have a display port and HDMI to choose from not just HDMI. So I bought a display port cable and removed the HDMI. This thread can be closed, thanks wolf.
