Not enough ports to plug in mic?

I recently bought a mic and when I got home to plug it in I say that there was a slot for my headphones but not for the audio part of the mic. Suggestions? Solutions?

Not all PC's have a mic port. I have an older EEEBox that is missing that port. You can get a USB microphone and that should solve your problem.
