Not enough power to run?

Hi everyone, I recently purchased parts for my pc. To be specific, I bought an Asrock FM2A88X+ Killer motherboard, AMD A8 6600K CPU, asus Radeon R7 260X, 8gb corsair vengeance RAM and XFX TS450 psu. Nothing works except for the fans. The GPU fans kinda work, they just turn on and off all the time. Is this because of my 450 watt power source? Or would 450 watt be enough?

*UPDATE*

I tried to boot it with other GPU, PSU and even RAM without any result. This means the problem has to be in the motherboard or CPU. The CPU wasn't connected properly, but after I fixed that I noticed that it overheats after just 15 seconds of running, but I don't know why it is doing that. Basically I need to know what the cause of the problem is, either the motherboard or the CPU. The motherboard isn't broken or damaged, and the CPU is the only component to overheat or do anything weird. This leads me to think the CPU is broken. Can anyone help me find out what's broken here?

*UPDATE 2*

After trying to boot with another CPU, my friend and I concluded that the motherboard had to be broken, so I send it back. A few days later I received an e-mail that the motherboard had a broken BIOS, they managed to repair it and that they would send it back. I received my motherboard, put everything back together and it booted instantly.

Even though it wasn't the power supply, I still thank everyone here for helping me out!

an R7 260x just need a 450w PSU for the who system so it should work. So did you recently bought all those parts recently and installed them? So does the system post at all or does the fan just turn on for a few seconds then turn off?

Possible issues that might be causing problem.

Make sure the 8 pin and the 24 pin power connector are attached to the MOBO
The RAM are securely in the slots
Try connecting monitor directly to the motherboard since you probably dont have the driver for the GPU installed yet.

I recently bought and installed the parts. If I connect it to any monitor, it will say it isn't connected. So basically it will turn on, but it won't even show anything on the monitor. The two fans on my GPU turn on for about 3 seconds and then turn off for about 1 second, only to turn on again.

The other fans are doing fine and I already checked if the pin power connectors are connected properly. They are all properly connected, including the power to the GPU. I've already tried everything that could cause the problem, so the only two things I could still think of are the power source or a broken GPU.

I could post a short video of the GPU fans or some pics if that could help anyone...

I removed the GPU, but it still wouldn't boot. I also noticed that the GPU fans will work correctly if they are only connected to the motherboard, and not to the psu. I'm going to ask a friend if I can borrow his GPU to replace with mine and see if it will boot up, I'll do the same with the CPU just in case. This way I can narrow down the amount of causes and hopely find the source of the problem.

I think it's the motherboard, because it won't boot on the CPU nor the GPU and the psu seems to function normally. Thanks for the help anyways.
