Hi, Merry Christmas. I build my first PC today and noticed that the mobo only came with 2 SATA DATA Cables... but there are 4 slots for it on the mobo? Do I need to get another or what?
Mobo: Asus M5A97 R2.0
(And I need another because I want to boot Win7 to the SSD... but I also have a HDD and a Optical Drive.)

So you need a total of 3 SATA cables to connect, SSD, HDD and ODD. Just buy one at like Fry's or some other computer store nearby. Only need a 4th one if you plan on connecting something else as well.

yeah, you'll need another SATA cable (don't worry they're universal so just pick one at your local retailer or online on your prefered e-tailler)

That sucks a little but all motherboard manufacturer do that and they all know that they've got plenty of SATA ports on their mobo, i've got 2 when i have 6 SATA ports so unless you have 10 ports (and they still give like 6 max) you need to buy extra cables...

Anyone know of a computer store open on Xmas? Radioshack, Fry's, and Microcenter are closed. If not I'll just use the cable ffrom the hdd for the disk drive and I'll use the SSD tonight (I'm too excited to wait)
