not genuine win 7

Solution
On your laptop or desktop there should be a COA sticker with your Windows 7 product key. On laptops it can be under the battery so check there. If you have this sticker and it matches your version of Windows then you can use that key to activate Windows 7. If you do not have that sticker then you probably do not have a genuine install and need to go back to whoever sold you the computer.

Because it is not...? Unless you bought it from an official retailer or Microsoft directly the copy of windows is not genuine.

If you did purchase it you can active windows with the product key that you got. If not ask the place where you purchased it or ask Microsoft customer service.
