not getting a single at my computer monitor

i have a home built pc that i get no singnal at the monitor at all. i tried 2 different monitor and also 2 different vidio cards and nothing seems to work.

Have you tried plugging the monitor into the back of the motherboard to see if integrated graphics work at least?

Do your computer POST? POST is when your computer actually boots up, whether or not the Video Card works. If the HDD light flickers, your computer did Boot.

Do you have a video connector on your motherboard? Disconnect the GPU and plug directly on your motherboard. If it works, go in the BIOS and disable the onboard video.
