Hi,

I just bought a 250GB Seagate Barracuda Hard Disk with a DFI NF3 mobo.

when i boot up, im only able to format 130,000MB which comes out to 127GB .. which is no where near the 250GB I paid for.

Anybody have any suggestions on how I can get the full capacity out of my hard drive?

thanks

You need SP1 or SP2. If you're trying to do a new windows installation on the drive, you need to have SP1 or SP2 integrated into the Windows CD.

If you can't get an SP1 or SP2 CD and can't slipstream SP2 yourself...you can settup on 127GB, install SP2 from Windows Update site, then use Partition Magic to expand the partition to fill the drive.
